Thermomix Raffle Terms & Conditions


By entering the “Win a Thermomix” raffle, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?

2.1 Entry is open to all members of the St John's Grammar School Community and their family and friends.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The raffle/competition commences on Wednesday 21 October at 10am and concludes on Wednesday 4 November at midnight unless sold out prior.

3.2 In order to enter, entrants must purchase a raffle ticket from the St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends website. Entrants must provide name, email address and telephone number.

3.3 Entrants can purchase multiple raffle tickets to increase their chances of winning the prize. There is no limit to the amount of tickets an entrant can purchase.

3.4 Raffle tickets must be purchased by midnight Wednesday 4 November 2020.

3.5 The Order number of the purchase will be the number submitted to the raffle. Multiple ticket purchases will present as the same order number entered multiple times.

4. PRIZE

4.1 There will be one (1) prize draw and one (1) winner. The winner will receive one prize package, as set out below.

4.2 The prize consists of: 1 Thermomix TM6 including all accessories and cook book. It also includes a demonstration of the product by Thermomix Consultant Sally Addison.

4.3 The winner is not required to be present at the time of the draw. The winner be notified by phone and email of their win and arrangements will be made for the prize to be delivered.

4.4 The prizes can be transferred but not redeemed for cash.

5. HOW TO WIN

5.1 There will be one (1) winner chosen from total pool of entries received, chosen at random by Richard Anderson on Friday 6 November at 9.30am. Each entrant who has entered the raffle over the duration of the raffle and registered all details required (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be eligible.

5.2  The winner will be notified by a phone and email by 5pm on Friday 6 November 2020 and will also be published on the Parent's of St John's Grammar School Open Communication Facebook Page.

5.3 The draw is final and St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.

5.4 St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take receipt of the prize, if the they determine, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.

6. NO LIABILITY

6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.

6.2 St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association will take no responsibility for prize damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.

6.3 St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur: a) during the draw; b) while undertaking any activity in or connected with their entry into the draw; c) in the participation in any prize; d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; e) in relation to failure of an entry to be received on account of technical problems; g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.

6.4 St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

6.5 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

6.6 St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association reserves the right to cancel the raffle within 24 hours of the closing date in the event that tickets sales fail to cover the cost of the prize. In this event all tickets sales will be refunded.

7. PROCEEDS

7.1 The proceeds of 'Win a Thermomix' raffle will go towards, but not limited too, the cost of outdoor seating at the new Junior School Science Precinct.

7.2 St John's Grammar School Parents & Friends Association reserves the right to use the proceeds for an alternative school project if the funds required to complete the purchase of the intended items is not reached.
